Events for our diaries and prayer...
- Eunice would be grateful for your regular prayers for the sale of Southcombe which is holding up the move to Croyde.
- There is a list at the back of each church asking those who wish to come to the ordination of Susan Oldham in Exeter Cathedral on 12th September to sign up indicating whether they want tothe coach party or use their own transport and whether they want to book lunch on the way back.
- Come and pray together at St George’s church every Friday from 7.30am to 8am.
- The first Meeting Point for the new term is on Wednesday 8th September at 7.30 pm in the Parish Centre. Each month this prayer time will be led by a different house group and will be on their regular night in the first week of the month. House groups will recommence in the week beginning 13th September. They will be adopting a new format based on a short DVD presentation. If you wish to join a group please have a word with Paul Ginnings or Mike.
- We are invited to celebrate the centenary of Woolacombe’s Parish Church from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th of September from 10am to 6pm. Display of creative art, photo exhibition, cream teas, a concert with local talents on Friday 3rd at 630pm, centenary communion on Sunday 5th at 10am and centenary songs of praise on the same day at 6pm. Free entry
- The Village Coffee Club is back from Thursday 16th September! Please come and join us at the Village Coffee Club, held in the Parish Centre on Thursday mornings from 10.15 to 12.00. Everyone is welcome, with or without children. We would love to see you for tea, coffee and cakes. For dads and mums we have lots of toys to keep your children happy whilst you enjoy a chat and a drink For more information please speak to Lorraine or Alison.
